Single Parent Support
Being a single parent is not easy. In many ways, it's like playing a game of basketball with four players against a team with a full squad of five. At FamilyCore, we work with single parents to help even out the odds. We provide free support services for single parents who have a child under the age of 18 living with them and who reside in the Tri-County area.
We can help a single parent strengthen his/her parenting skills by learning to:
- Discipline appropriately
- Communicate effectively with children
- Apply good child development techniques
